From Budapest around the world to Berlin. An evening for Ivan Nagel
In his condensed essays, Ivan Nagel (1931–2012), theatre director, scholar, critic and writer, not only paid tribute to theatre contemporaries, but also produced key works on the history of eighteenth-century art. All his writings, though, revolved around the theatre and the position of the intellectual and artist.
For the opening of the Ivan Nagel Archive, Norbert Miller and Thomas Sparr talk about this Homme de Lettres and present film clips. Angela Winkler reads from his works. Welcome: Werner Heegewaldt.
